Safetykleen acquires Parts Wash UK Ltd

As part of its ongoing expansion and drive into new markets, Safetykleen has announced (Friday 28th October 2011) the acquisition of Northallerton-based Partswash and its sister company QED Chemical Solutions.

Partswash is a highly-respected supplier of rental industrial parts washing and degreasing equipment across a number of sectors including aerospace, automotive, rail, transport, printing, engineering and remanufacturing. In addition to providing a range of standard cleaning machines, the company also operates a bespoke machine division, designing, manufacturing and installing custom cleaning equipment for specific industrial applications through an established working relationship with Technowash Ltd.

Safetykleen plans to actively build on the success of the bespoke service, retaining the Partswash brand as a separate business unit and providing further investment for its development. Existing Partswash machine customers will now receive enhanced service through Safetykleen’s nationwide 18- branch infrastructure, and will also have access to the full range of Safetykleen products and services.
